“It’s important to understand the client both professionally
and from a personal perspective. Thanks to our good relationship,
we can have the open discussions that are needed to find solutions that are suitable
for both sides and, ultimately, for DHL clients and consumers as well.”

"We were tasked with finding a non-standard warehousing solution for one of our customers from the automotive industry. The customer needed significant through-flow capacity supported by side-truck loading, which is not common on the local market at all. Many of my colleagues were understandably nervous about this task as not many development companies can deliver such
a non-standard building."
Filip Kozák, DHL Supply Chain
"This project was very memorable, not just because of the complexity but also because of how we managed to navigate it together with DHL. Any non-standard building requires additional input, effort and negotiation with local authorities. We were in constant contact with DHL throughout the process, and I was pleased that we managed to reach the desired outcome in the end."

„A big part of it is the automotive industry. But we also serve lots of retail companies, pharmacies, toy manufacturers, commercial service providers etc. We don’t have logistical solutions from small companies with few pallets. Our systems are complex and large amounts of goods. Therefore, we are always searching for clients who are looking for a big reliable partner with some added value.“
Filip Kozák, DHL Supply Chain
"A significant part of our customer base comes from the automotive industry, but we also serve large customers from the retail, pharmaceutical and manufacturing sectors. Our internal systems are complex and ready to process a large amount of goods. We’re always looking for reliable partners at a certain scale to add value to our supply chain operations. On the group level, DHL is striving for zero emissions by the year 2050. This is a large undertaking because we have a huge commercial fleet, and we’re also one of the world’s largest airlines. Reducing emissions in our leased warehouses is an area that I’m concentrating on. We’ve taken steps to reduce our CO2 footprint in the past five years by doing lighting exchanges, improving building insulation, having smarter building management systems and producing on-site solar capacity. In the short term, we’re targeting all warehouses to be carbon-neutral."
Filip Kozák, DHL Supply Chain
"This also comes with bigger demands on the spaces we lease. But we can do it only because of our honest and open collaboration. If we didn’t know the long-term goals of DHL, we wouldn’t be prepared for their upcoming demands."
