Paris, 12 November 2024: P3 announces that it has signed a new lease with the Adeo Group - owner of the Leroy Merlin brand and the world's third-largest retailer of consumer goods for DIY and home decoration - at its site in Fos-sur-Mer, near Marseille.
Managed by P3 since its delivery in 2020, the platform was previously leased to Geodis and already occupied by Adeo. Adeo's lease takeover, effective from1 January 2025, marks a new milestone in the long-term relationship between the Group and P3.
The building is a 36,300 m² Grade A asset. It is BREEAM-certified and has a photovoltaic power plant on the roof, as well as shaded areas in the car park.
A strategic location
Located in the Feuillane area, the site is ideally situated close to the port of Marseille-Fos - France's second largest commercial port - offering strategic connections with Asia and the rest of Europe.
"This partnership with P3 is fully in line with our strategy of positioning ourselves in the major port of Marseille and optimising our continental logistics flows. The Fos-sur-Mer site, with its barycentric position for our distribution flows, enables us to manage both containerised and road incoming flows, and to deliver all our European business units for our own-brand ranges," emphasises Marc Bot, International Supply Chain Project Leader at Adeo Supply Chain.
"This new lease with Adeo testifies to the lasting confidence that major players like Adeo place in P3 to support their strategic operations. Our Fos-sur-Mer site is a perfect illustration of our commitment to more environmentally-friendly logistics and meets the evolving needs of our partners," concludes Adrien Beuriot, Managing Director of P3 France.
