Frankfurt am Main, Germany – April 29, 2025 – P3, a leading developer and long-term owner of logistics properties in Europe, today celebrated the installation of the first structural columns for the new P3 Park in Pfalzfeld together with the local municipality and project partners. This milestone marks a significant step forward in the construction of the state-of-the-art commercial property.
Once completed, P3 Park Pfalzfeld will offer approximately 23,000 square meters of rental space with a clear height of 12 meters. The property will feature 19 loading docks, 2 ground-level access gates, and a high floor load capacity (7 tons/sqm UDL, 10 tons/rack post), making it ideally suited for the storage of heavy goods. Strategically located along the A61 motorway between Frankfurt and Cologne, the park is especially attractive to logistics providers, wholesalers, and e-commerce companies. Immolox GmbH and Colliers International Deutschland GmbH are responsible for leasing, while Goldbeck is acting as the general contractor.
Sönke Kewitz, Managing Director of P3 Germany, said:
"We are very pleased to celebrate this important milestone in the construction of our new facility in Pfalzfeld together with our partners and the local community. Modern commercial space holds great potential for this region, and we are confident that P3 Pfalzfeld will make a lasting contribution to local economic development."
Rainer Steeg, Mayor of Pfalzfeld, added:
"The municipality of Pfalzfeld is delighted to have found a renowned, pan-European investor in P3, who is placing its trust in our location and will significantly enhance the site upon completion of the project."
Marco Bayer, Head of the Goldbeck Koblenz Branch, commented:
"I am very pleased to have found in P3 a highly professional and innovative partner for the realization of this logistics center on such a well-situated site. We are now looking forward to the next phase of implementation."
The property is targeting a BREEAM "Excellent" certification and will meet the highest sustainability standards. Environmentally friendly technologies include heat pumps, photovoltaic systems, LED lighting, and water-saving installations. Prior to construction, a habitat for lizards was created to ensure species protection. Smart metering systems and charging stations for electric vehicles complete the sustainability concept, enabling efficient and eco-friendly operations.
