DC7B hall in P3 Bratislava D2 receives BREEAM “Very Good” certification

Bratislava| March 27, 2023 – P3 Logistic Parks, a leading developer and long-term owner of logistics properties in Europe, is proud that its newest property at park P3 Bratislava D2, near Lozorno, in Slovakia, has been awarded a BREEAM sustainability rating of ‘Very Good.’ With this, P3’s entire Slovak portfolio achieves full certification at the BREEAM ‘Very Good’ level, demonstrating the sustainable credentials of its modern assets.

The BREEAM international sustainability certification framework sets demanding ecological requirements for developers, while giving tenants certainty that the premises in which they do business have been built with a high-quality working environment in mind.

Thanks to this, it can be certified as BREEAM ‘Very Good.’ At P3, we always take sustainability into account as part of our ESG strategy. We build modern logistics properties of the highest quality; level A, which bring tenants significant operational cost savings, in high-quality conditions."

Hall DC7B at the P3 park near Lozorno is equipped with a modern heating and ventilation system, increased thermal insulation of the roof and energy-saving intelligent LED lighting throughout. Structurally, it is also ready to be further expanded for office or industrial purposes. A unique element of the local environment is a 300-year-old summer oak tree, around which P3 adapted the hall’s construction and reduced the usable built-up area by approximately 3,000 m².

The new hall has been built for the park's long-term tenants, IHLE, the European wholesaler of automotive tires and wheels, and MX Logistika, a distribution warehouse for the furniture retailer, MÖBELIX, one of P3’s largest tenants.

MX Logistika leases premises with a total area of 69,000 m2 across three logistics properties at park P3 Bratislava D2. Last year alone, the company expanded its leased area by more than 23,000 m², of which 13,500 m² is in the newest hall, DC7B. From the warehouses in P3 Bratislava D2, MX Logistika serves 10 countries, 154 stores and employs almost 50 employees from the local community. With this latest expansion of space, the company will also grow its team by recruiting 10 new employees.
