Beer distributor ZITEK logistics leases 3,000 m2 in P3 Ostrava Central

Prague, Czech Republic, 11th May 2023 Long-term investor, manager and developer of industrial real estate P3, has welcomed logistics company ZITEK logistics to its park in Ostrava. The logistics provider will house the entire portfolio of Pivovary Staropramen products, including Staropramen, Braník, Ostravar, and other brands. Operations in the L1 hall will start imminently.

 

Tereza Nešlehová, development manager at P3 Logistic Parks Czech Republic, says: “ZITEK is a wonderful addition to P3 Ostrava Central. It perfectly complements the diverse range of companies operating at the park and is our first pure logistics tenant to settle in Vítkovice.”

 

The drinks distributor is occupying 3,000 m2 in the L1 hall at P3 Ostrava Central, from where its beer products will be distributed to the whole Czech Republic, Slovakia and abroad. Lenka Stahlová of ZITEK logistics, adds: “It is our pleasure to establish long-term cooperation with P3 in Ostrava-Vítkovice, at this moment we have fulfilled our vision of a new modern facility for our company located in the east of the Czech Republic.”

 

ZITEK specializes in beer delivery to customers by truck, as well as tanker transport and the supply of beer tanks to restaurants. P3 Ostrava Central will also house another distribution warehouse, which will help the company expand its distribution network and get closer to its customers.

 

Petr Purnoch, real estate agent at Sklady.cz, adds: “There was indeed very little time to conclude the deal, and therefore the helpfulness and flexibility of both sides during negotiations should be appreciated. I believe ZITEK Logistics will thrive in this area and that the developer P3 has gained a quality partner.”

 

P3 Logistic Parks has so far completed the first stage of construction at the park, has signed leases totalling almost 14,000 m2, and has already started construction of another 29,000 m2. Currently, 18,400 m2 is still available for immediate lease on the brownfield site in the center of industrial Ostrava, and more tenants will be able to move in over the coming months.
