Long-term approach for long-term value

  Long-term approach for long-term value

Upper Silesia, the biggest region of Poland and its second largest market, has long been an investment target for P3. With its industrial character, represented mainly by the automotive sector, Upper Silesia attracts businesses thanks to a large employee base and convenient proximity to the country’s southwestern border.

P3 recently acquired a brownfield site in the main city of Upper Silesia, Katowice, which perfectly fits our acquisition profile, and furthers our sustainable strategy of redeveloping and repurposing previously-used  land.

The plot in Katowice covers approximately five hectares, offering a built-up capacity of more than 22,560 m², of which 20,486 m² is designated warehouse, with the remainder being office. Upon completion, the building will be certified according to the BREEAM system at the level of “Excellent” for sustainability.

The close proximity of Katowice Szopienice Południowe railway station and many bus routes will ensure fast and comfortable access to other parts of the city — including the centre — and to the whole Katowice metropolis. This will be an undoubted advantage for P3’s customers, especially those who need a convenient urban location with easy access to Katowice's workforce.

Thanks to this well-developed transport infrastructure, our investment will serve a huge local market, other regions in Poland, as well as western and wider Central and Eastern Europe.

This project is a typical example of P3's long-term thinking. We realize investments and developments which will bring us and our customers excellent value not only today, but also in ten or 15 years’ time.
