P3 Bratislava Airport welcomes largest collection of Czechoslovak classic cars in Europe

Bratislava| 26. September 2023 – A unique concept has been created in the city logistics centre, P3 Bratislava Airport, by P3’s tenant PALK, which operates the Pálfy Mansion, with the VIAJUR winery. In the park, PALK has opened the “Oldtimer Gallery – Museum of Classic Cars,” where more than 80 historic vehicles from the "Made in Czechoslovakia" era are exhibited across two floors, in an area of more than 1,400 m2. The museum also includes original spaces for organizing company events with a capacity of 1,500 people.

PALK moved into P3 Bratislava Airport in March 2022. At that time, the company also established the distribution centre for the Selaví online shop and Selaví wine shop in the P3 park.

Within an approximate area of 800 m², Selaví offers exclusive world famous brands and Slovak wines, including the domestic brand VIAJUR, which belongs to the brand family of ZAR. The company further expanded its production to include the production of Mozart coffee, Pálffy Brauerei craft beer, distillates, honey and lavender products, which visitors to the wine shop and classic car museum can taste and buy.

Miro Balla, Sales Director of distribution company Selaví, says: "The name Selaví comes from French c'est la vie and the goal is to enjoy life with all the pleasant moments it brings, while tasting new flavours and trying new things. We bring the wine shop and classic car museum to the public to show what it’s like to be a true bon vivant, and we bring an experience of flavours, combined with a touch of history. The concept in its entirety requires large industrial spaces in which we can both exhibit and store at the same time. We are happy we managed to find this in the city logistics centre, P3 Bratislava Airport, which is in close proximity to the capital city and accessible to the general public, and at the same time is ready to respond flexibly to our needs in the event of further business expansion."

Peter Jánoši, Managing Director of P3 Czech Republic and Slovakia, adds: "The combination of the idea of a wine shop and a museum of historic vehicles, demonstrates that logistics parks do not have to be only industrial places, but can also support the cultural and social life of a city. This is ultimately confirmed by the interest of the public and the number of museum visitors since the first day of its opening."

Both the museum and the wine shop are open to the public all year round.

P3 Bratislava Airport is located on the city ring, with access to the D1 motorway and only one kilometre from Bratislava Airport. It offers 91,000 m2 of modern business space, with potential for more 6,000m2 built-to-suit office space. The park has been awarded a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ environmental certification for sustainability.
